*The first shot from Francis Ford Coppola’s next film _Twixt_
has been unveiled online.*

No, it’s not about a chocolate bar. It's a Gothic horror
starring Val Kilmer and Elle Fanning (who’s pictured above with
her director).

The story follows Kilmer’s hack horror writer, who suffers
ghostly visions in a small town that lead him to investigate the death
of a young girl (Fanning).

Coppola himself has divulged that the film draws on Nathaniel
Hawthorne and Edgar Allan Poe for inspiration.

The director will be heading to Comic-Con this week to chat about the
film, where hopefully we’ll get our first glimpse of
_Twixt_’s trailer.

_Twixt_ has yet to receive an official UK release date.
