Wolfe can get Abbott award

George C. Wolfe can get this years Mr. Abbott Award, the lifetime achievement kudo given out with the Stage Company company directors and Choreographers Foundation as well as the legit helmers' union connected using the org. Thesps whom Wolfe has directed formerly -- including Elaine Stritch ("Elaine Stritch at Liberty"), Jeffrey Wright ("Angels within the usaInch) and Ellen Barkin ("The Conventional Heart") -- look incorporated inside a tribute perf, composed by John Guare ("A Free Of Charge Guy of Color") and helmed by Jack O'Brien. Composer Jeanine Tesori ("Caroline, or Change") provides music direction. Kudo remains gave in prior years to Harold Prince, Susan Stroman and Michael Bennett, among others.
